Three business centers. One obsession: performance.
RAF Plastex is an industrial and commercial group structured around three autonomous directions — consulting and sales management in DIY, plastics recycling, injection production. Each division is an independent business center: own team, own management, own P&L. All three share the same benchmark — verifiable, predictable, repeatable results.
Three divisions. Three management teams. One operational standard — discipline by which we promise only what we deliver, and measure everything we deliver.
Brands and chains we actively work with.
Long-built partnerships, sustained by measurable monthly execution. Manufacturers whose commercial portfolio we operate. DIY retailers we enter daily, store by store.
The complete list, with duration of each collaboration and corresponding KPIs, available under NDA to qualified prospects.
Each RAF Plastex division is structured as an autonomous business center — dedicated team, management accountable for specific KPIs, own P&L. Autonomy enables the vertical specialization each segment demands. Convergence comes from the shared performance benchmark and from real interaction between divisions — recycled pellets become finished product, store data feeds factory decisions, commercial expertise steers the industrial portfolio.
Consulting & Sales Management
Dedicated team · Own management · KPIs: share, listings, sell-out
We operate the commercial infrastructure of construction-materials manufacturers in Romanian DIY: listing strategy, daily execution in 87 stores, business intelligence via the proprietary platform, monthly report on the 1st.
See divisionPlastics Recycling
Dedicated team · Own management · KPIs: yield, lot quality, OEE
Own plant processes PET, HDPE, PP, LDPE. Washing, granulation, QC in own lab, delivery to industrial producers. Closed-loop water, full lot-by-lot traceability.
See divisionPlastics Production
Dedicated team · Own management · KPIs: scrap, cycle, mold cost
Plastex Industry plant — since 2013 supplier to Dedeman, Hornbach, Leroy Merlin, Adeplast. Injection molding, ISO 9001 + 14001, Technical Approval. Uses pellets from our own recycling.
See divisionOperationally independent. Strategically convergent.
Three business centers with separate teams and management — because adhesives for the Dedeman shelf, PET pellets for packaging, and OSB dowels produced by injection demand completely different expertise. But all three apply the same filter: we promise only what we deliver, we measure what we deliver, we improve what we measure. This shared discipline is the foundation of group performance.

One partner for the full commercial cycle.
From go-to-market strategy to per-store margin analysis, we cover the entire commercial infrastructure. Dedicated teams, mature processes, proprietary system.
Strategy & Commercial Development
We build your brand's DIY commercial architecture from scratch — or restructure what already exists. We define territories, the commercial hierarchy, the key roles, the KPIs the team will be measured on. We work on the listing strategy in each chain, on price positioning relative to competitors, on portfolio expansion through cross-selling. Every decision starts from data — from the field and from the platform — not from intuition.
Field Execution
Field execution is the core of what we do. Our merchandisers visit every major DIY store monthly: they validate SKU facing, install new panels and POSM, activate promotions on schedule, run technical demos when the product calls for it. Every visit produces photo-evidence archived automatically. Discipline is what sets us apart — not "execution when we get to it" but execution on a plan.
Business Intelligence
Your data does not live in someone's Excel — it lives in a platform that interprets it. We compute market share per category and store, track competitor moves with visual proof (price, new listings, promotions, panels), trigger alerts when something relevant changes, and measure every KPI we defined together. The monthly business review is no longer a 3-day process — it's ready on the 1st of the month, narrative plus numbers.
Commercial Operations
The operational layer is what separates a serious partner from a freelancer with a phone. We monitor stock per store, flag shortages before they hit sales, assist orders from the negotiation with the shop manager through to delivery, and track logistics in both directions. Relationships with central buying and shop managers are built over 15 years — they cannot be replicated overnight.
Our operations, made transparent through software.
No Excel, no generic CRM, no off-the-shelf SFA. Over 15 years we built a stack dedicated to distribution and retail execution. Every visit, every shelf measured, every order confirmed — it all flows through the platform. The client sees what management sees.
“Custom-built, not configured.”
DIY distribution has particularities Salesforce or Repsly cannot solve. A few reasons our contract includes the platform.
The data schema reflects your reality: categories (mortars, adhesives, finishes), Key Accounts, retail pricing, DIY aisles. A generic CRM is designed for lead pipelines, not shelves.
Need a new KPI or a custom ERP integration? Our dev team ships weekly. You are not waiting on a vendor roadmap with 30k other customers.
PostgreSQL with an open schema. Export anytime, in any format. No lock-in, no closed data lake, no export charges.
We accept data from SAP, Charisma, Senior, Excel. Orders flow back in the format you require. Product, store, and agent mappings — managed explicitly, not best-effort.
The same data our manager sees. Full audit log. No "prepared reports" — data is raw, we own explaining it.
Each module reflects part of the team's work. The application is not a showcase — it is the tool through which daily execution happens.

Plastic is not garbage.
It's oil that has already taken a journey.
RAF Plastex's second division turns sorted waste into clean pellets, ready to become something else. Closed loop, under one roof.
The water bottle you throw away today was extracted from the ground 60 million years ago. It passed through drilling, refineries, factories, your hands — and now sits in the trash. Two days of use. Four hundred years to decompose.
This no longer makes sense.
Oil is extracted once. Plastic can be reused ten times. That's what we do at RAF Plastex: we take what the world calls waste and send it back into the economy as certified pellets, ready for the extruder.
„The best ton of plastic is the one that is never extracted from the ground again."
Two lines. One standard.
RAF Plastex pellets are produced on two distinct lines, for two types of industrial demand. Regardless of the line, every lot goes through the same quality-control protocol and ships with a Certificate of Analysis.
Standard regranulate
Pellets produced directly from recycled material, no modifications. Consistent density, melt flow, and color across lots. For customers who want honest, predictable raw material at competitive cost.
Non-pressure pipes · construction profiles · secondary rigid packaging · crates · outdoor furniture · non-structural parts.
Compound with additives
Recycled pellets passed through a second extruder, where technical additives are incorporated per the customer's recipe. Here pellets become an engineering solution, not just raw material.
UV stabilizers · impact modifiers · antioxidants · coupling agents · antistatic · custom-colored masterbatch (any Pantone/RAL).
For products exposed to sun — outdoor furniture, profiles, agro textiles.
For superior mechanical resistance — automotive components, industrial containers.
For lots feeding long extruders or high-temperature injection.
For PE-PP or virgin-recycled blends.
For films and flexible packaging.
Naturals (clear, white, black) or any Pantone/RAL color.
Most recyclers sell raw pellets and stop there. The customer has to compound it themselves. With us, pellets ship pre-formulated — with guaranteed specs and a proprietary recipe agreed contractually. That is the difference between a raw-material supplier and a technical partner.

The numbers your customer counts on.
Every delivered lot is accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) with measured values. Standard contracted intervals — tolerances can be tightened on request for sensitive applications.
Quality is not promised. It is measured.
RAF Plastex runs its own quality-control lab, integrated into the production line. Every lot is tested before being labeled as deliverable. No bag leaves the plant without validation.
Identifies polymer type and detects contamination with other plastics. The most reliable way to confirm a PP bag has no PE infiltration.
Measures polymer flow at melt. Guarantees pellets flow predictably in extrusion and injection — no processing surprises.
Verifies molecular integrity and consistency across lots. Small variations signal process issues before they reach the customer.
Essential for PET and any polymer for thin extrusion. Wet plastic makes bubbles, defects, scrap.
Tensile, Charpy impact, elongation — for lots heading into technical applications (auto, construction, rigid packaging).
5 kg film/test run on a lab extruder to validate real-world behavior before delivering a large lot.
Visual and instrumental control for chromatic consistency across lots (delta E < 1.5 vs. agreed standard).
Three-level protocol
Level 1 — quick test on raw-material reception (FTIR + visual). Level 2 — in-process test at extruder outlet (MFI + density). Level 3 — final test on packed lot (full panel + retain sample archived 12 months). If a complaint ever arises, we can re-analyze exactly what the customer received.
The paper that matters for your audit.
Major industrial buyers and especially FMCG brands need certified suppliers. European regulations (PPWR, SUP Directive) require documented proof of recycled content. RAF Plastex aligns processes to European-recognized standards.
European scheme for post-consumer recycling quality. Annually audited, the reference for FMCG plants.
Design-for-recycling assessment and recycled-content certification. Recognized by global brands (Unilever, Nestlé, Henkel).
Quality management system. Standard requirement in any serious industrial tender.
Environmental management system. Essential for ESG reporting and EU directive compliance.
Occupational health and safety. For customers running supply-chain due diligence.
Operational Clean Recycled Plastic — voluntary scheme for contamination transparency. On the 2027 roadmap.
Lot traceability
Every big bag (700-1,000 kg) leaves the plant with a QR label linking the lot to:
- 01Raw-material origin (collection region, stream type)
- 02Production date and shift
- 03Operator responsible for the line
- 04Lab results for the lot (full CoA)
- 05Retain sample archived 12 months for re-analysis on request
If an FMCG brand asks where the recycled plastic in their packaging comes from — you have an answer. If an auditor demands proof of recycled content — you have an answer. That is what a serious supplier looks like, not a broker.
From our bag to their shelf.
Pellets leave our plant. The journey forward is the customer's. A few typical trajectories, with the specs real factories ask for.
Food film & non-food bottles
Feeds extruders for rigid film (salad trays, yogurt lids) or SSP reactor for bottle-grade. Customers: secondary food-packaging makers, cleaning-product bottlers.
Pipes & containers
Customers: irrigation and non-pressure sewer pipe makers, industrial jug producers, transport containers.
Automotive components & crates
Stable demand for non-structural auto parts (wheel arch liners, brackets, battery covers) and reusable crates for in-plant logistics.
Protective film & sacks
Customers: construction film, garbage bags, industrial stretch film, agro textiles.
Outdoor furniture & profiles
Customers: garden furniture, fence profiles, agricultural accessories, durable agro textiles.
Vertical integration — the invisible advantage
The pellets we produce don't only go to other manufacturers. We use them ourselves, in our own production division. The loop closes internally: sorted waste → clean pellets → finished product. Under one roof, end-to-end traceability. Very few plants in the region offer this.
Five reasons the competition cannot copy.
Real vertical integration
We have our own recycling plant AND our own production division. Our pellets are validated daily on our own lines. If they're not good for us, we don't sell them to others either.
Fully integrated lab
FTIR, MFI, density, Karl Fischer, mechanical tests, spectrophotometer — all in the plant, all operated by our own staff. No lot without certificate. Never a "waiting on external lab".
Two product lines
Standard regranulate for customers wanting predictable raw material at competitive cost, or compound with additives for those wanting an engineering solution. Same plant, two answers.
Masterbatch on demand
Naturals (clear, white, black) as standard, but any Pantone or RAL color to order. Instrumentally controlled cross-lot chromatic consistency.
End-to-end traceability
From received bale to delivered bag — every stage documented, every lot re-identifiable for 12 months. Your ESG audits stop being a headache.
Request a sample. Then we talk.
You don't buy raw material based on a PDF. You buy it after testing it on your own extruder, on your own line, with your own parameters. RAF Plastex offers each serious prospect a three-step qualification program.
Technical sample
We ship a representative sample from your line of interest, accompanied by full CoA. You process it on your extruder and measure real-world behavior. Free, no obligation.
Pilot lot
If the sample passes, we deliver a pilot lot on agreed commercial terms. We validate consistency over a longer run, tune the recipe if compound, finalize the contractual specification.
Supply contract
Monthly volumes, delivery windows, spec tolerances, price-review mechanism, payment terms. With extension option.
Tell us what you process. We reply in 48h. The first discussion is no-cost and no-obligation. We schedule a plant visit if it makes sense. We send a sample if specs align. That's it.

From pellets to shelf.
13 years at Dedeman, Hornbach, and Leroy Merlin.
Plastex Industry is the plastics plant that closes the RAF Plastex loop. Operating since 2013 in Bacău, producing via injection molding, delivering to Romania's largest DIY retailers. The same retailers the krossdash team enters every month, store by store, shelf by shelf.
„From a bottle thrown in a trash bin, to the OSB dowel on the Dedeman shelf in Pitești — all under one roof."

Plastex Industry has been active in the plastic-products market since 2013. The concept has been the same from day one: partnership based on trust and seriousness, contracts signed with the biggest players in construction materials, permanent investment in technology.
Romania's largest DIY retailer, present in over 60 stores.
The premium German chain, with European supplier-quality standards.
The French network, demanding on certifications and compliance.
Romanian construction-materials producer, industrial partner on components.
You don't enter Dedeman with an invoice from a one-person business. You don't stay in Hornbach if deliveries are unpredictable. Leroy Merlin doesn't list you without quality audits, ISO, and proven capacity. Plastex Industry has been in their portfolio for 13 years. That isn't bought — it's earned, month by month, delivery by delivery.
What comes off the plant's line.
The Plastex Industry portfolio focuses on fast-turnover categories with stable demand in DIY — products a craftsman, builder, or homeowner looks for weekly on the shelf.
Quick fixing for OSB and drywall — high-volume category, constant demand.
Standard accessories for professional and amateur painters.
Standard format, seasonal but predictable demand.
Fast-turnover consumables on the shelf.
Household and professional format, high volumes.
For construction, agriculture, household use.
All these products share three things: fast shelf turnover, low brand sensitivity (the customer buys functional, not emotional), and high plastic content per unit. That means recycled pellets from our division get valorized immediately, without compromising demand. The paint-tray buyer doesn't check if the plastic is virgin or recycled — they check if it lasts.

Modern equipment. Quality materials.
Production is by injection molding — the industry's standard technology for serial production of plastic parts. Plastex Industry operates injection lines of varied capacities, optimized for the portfolio's product types: small and medium parts, in high volumes, short cycles.
Lot consistency
Parts come out identical to one another, to millimeter tolerance. For a DIY shelf, that means this week's anchor is identical to last week's.
Scaling capacity
A 10,000-unit order runs as well as a 200,000-unit one. Retailers running seasonal promotions don't run out of stock.
Energy efficiency
Modern presses consume 30-40% less power than older generations — lower production cost, healthier margins, ability to compete on price without cutting quality.
Part of the raw material entering the injection lines is recycled pellets produced in our own RAF Plastex division. The rest comes from validated suppliers. Either way, every lot goes through validation before entering the mold — because a defective part on the Hornbach shelf comes back as a complaint in 48 hours.
The paper that grants entry to Dedeman.
There is no listing at a major DIY retailer without a documented and audited quality-management system. Plastex Industry holds every certification buyers require — and renews them annually.
Quality management — standard reference in any serious industrial tender.
Environmental management — essential for ESG reporting and EU compliance.
For construction products — EU-directive compliance and a requirement for public tenders.
In Plastex Industry product compositions we already use recycled materials. That was "nice to have" five years ago. Today, with PPWR directives and EU 2030 targets, it becomes explicit requirement in tenders and framework contracts. Plastex Industry is positioned correctly — not reactively, but proactively.
Why three divisions under one roof changes the game.
Raw-material cost, under control
Production consumes plastic. Virgin plastic is tied to oil price — volatile, unpredictable, rising. Recycled pellets from our own division are tied to processing cost — predictable, more stable, cheaper. Better quotes for retailers, healthier margins for the plant.
Raw-material quality, guaranteed
Independent recyclers sell pellets per declared specs. Sometimes specs hold, sometimes not. When pellets come from your own plant, validated in your own lab, controlled by your own staff — surprises vanish. Injection lines don't stop, molds don't clog, rejects stay under 2%.
Market insight, internal
The krossdash team enters 134 DIY stores monthly. They see what sells, what stalls, what competitors launch, what shop managers ask for. The same team works in-house with the plant. Competitors get the same data three months late, via Nielsen reports.
Authentic brand story
"We use recycled materials" is a phrase on a label. "We have our own recycling plant 50 km from the production plant" is a story you tell on a visit with the Hornbach buyer. The difference between a supplier among many and a strategic partner.
Rapid response to demand
When Leroy Merlin launches a national spatula promotion needing 50,000 units in three weeks, the plant kicks in. Pellets are already at the 50-meter warehouse. The field-execution team knows exactly where and when to be with fresh stock. That vertical isn't improvised — it's built in 13 years.
A few facts that matter.
Want to list a product? Let's talk.
Plastex Industry is open to three types of conversations.
DIY retailers
Want a private label for anchors, buckets, trays, or putty knives? We have capacity, certifications, and history. We discuss volumes, commercial terms, listing calendar.
Construction-material makers
Need injected plastic components for your final product — caps, accessories, dispensers, rigid packaging? Send specs and volumes. We quote fast.
Brands with sustainability goals
Looking for a partner that can document recycled content in your products, with full traceability from waste to shelf? That's what we do. We schedule a plant visit.
Tell us what product. We reply in 48h. We send the standard datasheet for portfolio products, or quote a new part based on your drawing. A plant visit is always welcome — Bacău, Strada Milcov 3-5.
