Group structure

Each RAF Plastex division is structured as an autonomous business center — dedicated team, management accountable for specific KPIs, own P&L. Autonomy enables the vertical specialization each segment demands. Convergence comes from the shared performance benchmark and from real interaction between divisions — recycled pellets become finished product, store data feeds factory decisions, commercial expertise steers the industrial portfolio.

Operationally independent. Strategically convergent.

Three business centers with separate teams and management — because adhesives for the Dedeman shelf, PET pellets for packaging, and OSB dowels produced by injection demand completely different expertise. But all three apply the same filter: we promise only what we deliver, we measure what we deliver, we improve what we measure. This shared discipline is the foundation of group performance.

Plastex Industry is the plastics plant that closes the RAF Plastex loop. Operating since 2013 in Bacău, producing via injection molding, delivering to Romania's largest DIY retailers. The same retailers the krossdash team enters every month, store by store, shelf by shelf.

Production is by injection molding — the industry's standard technology for serial production of plastic parts. Plastex Industry operates injection lines of varied capacities, optimized for the portfolio's product types: small and medium parts, in high volumes, short cycles.

Lot consistency

Parts come out identical to one another, to millimeter tolerance. For a DIY shelf, that means this week's anchor is identical to last week's.

Scaling capacity

A 10,000-unit order runs as well as a 200,000-unit one. Retailers running seasonal promotions don't run out of stock.

Energy efficiency

Modern presses consume 30-40% less power than older generations — lower production cost, healthier margins, ability to compete on price without cutting quality.

Part of the raw material entering the injection lines is recycled pellets produced in our own RAF Plastex division. The rest comes from validated suppliers. Either way, every lot goes through validation before entering the mold — because a defective part on the Hornbach shelf comes back as a complaint in 48 hours.

Plastex Industry is the plastics plant that closes the RAF Plastex loop. Operating since 2013 in Bacău, producing via injection molding, delivering to Romania's largest DIY retailers. The same retailers the krossdash team enters every month, store by store, shelf by shelf.
